Provincial Grand Lodge Installation June 17 2017

The installation of the new Provincial Grand Master Bro. Stewart James Quigley and his commissioned office bearers took place within Cupar Corn Exchange on Saturday 17th June 2017. The ceremony of installation was conducted by the Grand Lodge of Scotland who were headed by the Most Worshipful Grand Master Mason Bro. Charles Ian Robert Wolrige Gordon of Esslemont.

The ceremony of installation was conducted in an excellent manner by the Most Worshipful Grand Master Mason and all who assisted. The Most Worshipful Grand Master Mason obligated and installed the Provincial Grand Master while the Depute and Substitute Provincial Grand Masters were obligated and installed by Right Worshipful Substitute Grand Master Bro. Hugh Clelland and the Secretary and Chaplains by Right Worshipful Depute Grand Master Bro. Ramsy McGhee.

A cheque for the sum of £18,000 was presented to Mr. Adam Gaines of Prostate Scotland, this was the proceeds of the sponsored fire walk which was carried out at Markinch in April. Congraulations to Bro. Colin Davie PM for organising this and to all the Brethren who took part and to the sponsors, a fantastic sum to add to that already raised for the Grand Lodge of Scotland's chosen charity.
